My project today is a 3-D cake that will end up being a decoration for a one year old's birthday.  Her mom is a huge Disney fan and we tend to call Little Miss Ella.... Princess.  So with that in mind I sat down and decided on colours and embellishments and over all design of the cake.

    I'm back I promise!

Oh wow.. Three months without a post.. I am still debating on which website I am going to use as my permanent home.  I won an Amazon gift card for work and purchased the New Silhouette Cameo 2 for Christmas.  I haven't had enough moments to myself to play with it, but today I did and am in love with all that I have accomplished with just the starter pack of vinyl.  I have more of the heavy duty on its way as I type.  I started out actually decorating my Cameo with a quote from The Hobbit which I absolutely love...  After that my laptop endured my practice then on to my phone case and vanity mirror.  I have a glass block sitting here that I am eager to play with but the project plan was for a football image, but since our NFL season is over I may just tun it into something else then make the light for next season.  I had the original silhouette machine that was released about 6 or so years ago and I used it, but I was frustrated as I was a scrapbooker at the time and I only did 12x12 so I wasted a great deal of paper trying to use the machine.  I have wanted the Cameo since it came out but I could not justify the money as I stopped scrapbooking and moved on to digital stamps and card making and I didn't have the space in my new place to leave the machine out.  Well since it was not my money I decided to buy the new one and gave my daughter -in - law my original one.  She is excited.  We decided on New Year's Day that I was going to move my entire bedroom around and by doing so my crafting space expanded and the new Cameo has a permanent home out of the box on it's own little table.  Thus the crafting that has been going on every moment I get since it's arrival on the 30th.

Grab your broomsticks and join us for some wicked fun!

I'm glad you stopped your broom at my door.  This is my project using a digital stamp from Rick St. Dennis.  Love the detail of this stamp.  She is a fun one to colour.  She reminds me of the mother from Bewitched.

    Oh Hello There!

Wow.  It has been way too long since my last posting.  Summer was a very hectic time for me this year.  We didn't do much family wise because Hubby and I were always working.  But in rolls Autumn and things are once again hectic, but I love the hectic days of Autumn.  We did a ghost walk through a Cemetary here in Akron that is over 200 years old.  From what we saw at night, I am eager to see this beauty during the day time.  We took quite a few pictures.  On Sunday of that same week we went to a local farm for some pumpkin and gourd picking and a bit of fun in their 3 acre corn maze.  This year it was the headless horseman.

    Missing

Such a fitting title for where I have been of late.  I have a lot on my plate at the moment and am trying desperately to get back into the blogging.  I am thinking of starting my blog over from scratch and making it a necessity to blog at least 2-3 times a week.  I shall keep everyone posted on where I am blogging at as soon as I can determine a location.  Wix is looking rather inviting and I have already used it, but want to start over from scratch there as well.  I will post the address as soon as I decide where I shall be.

    Travel Smashbook

My 422 pictures from the Florida Vacation arrived today and it was the kick in the butt I needed to do something with the cover of my Smashbook.  Spent two hours in my craft area planning and changing my mind etc. till I came up with the final product.
